Shanti • Samsára • Yoga is a Sanskrit translation of Peace • New Life • Yoga
The idea of finding peace in our ever changing, busy lives is a concept many are familiar with or wish to explore. Yoga and meditation offer a peaceful new life and so much more, its down to you to kick start that journey.
My teacher training in Bali:
A solo trip to Bali to become a qualified yoga teacher was the highlight of 2023 for me! As well as meeting wonderful people and being immersed in a new culture I learnt so much from my time away. I studied with ‘The Peaceful Warriors’ where we delved into daily asana practice; ancient yogic history, philosophy, texts and concepts, anatomy and the art of teaching. In Asana Lab I learnt the most precise and useful methods to sequencing a vinyasa/hatha flow. In addition to the training, I had the opportunity to surf at Echo Beach, Canggu; visit Tirta Empul Temple in Ubud and explore the island. I turned 19 in the first week of training and my fellow peaceful warriors made that experience so magical! I felt so welcomed into Bali from the second I stepped off the plane and can’t wait to visit again.
